Bowflex Treadmill / TreadClimber Motor Carbon Brush – MFR-90605
Copper Carbon Motor Brush | .25" x .43" x .75" | Replacement Drive Motor Brush
Restore proper operation to your Bowflex treadmill or TreadClimber drive motor with this replacement copper carbon motor brush, MFR-90605 . Motor brushes are wear components that transfer electrical current to the rotating portion of the motor and gradually wear down during normal treadmill use.
A worn carbon brush can contribute to intermittent motor operation, reduced power, excessive sparking, unusual motor noise, or a treadmill belt that stops or hesitates under load . Replacing worn brushes can help restore consistent electrical contact and extend the service life of an otherwise functional drive motor.

Why Replace Motor Brushes?
Carbon brushes make continuous electrical contact with the motor's commutator and naturally become shorter with use. Worn or damaged brushes may cause:
- Intermittent drive motor operation
- Motor hesitation or cutting out
- Loss of power under load
- Excessive motor sparking
- Erratic treadmill belt movement
- Increased electrical noise
- Failure of the drive motor to start
Replacing a worn brush is often a much more economical repair than replacing the complete treadmill drive motor when the motor itself is still serviceable.
Important – Check Before Ordering
Please compare your existing motor brush before purchasing. Motor compatibility should be confirmed by the original brush dimensions and motor configuration, not solely by the treadmill model.
For best motor performance, carbon brushes are generally inspected and replaced as a matched pair when both brushes show significant wear .
