Ordered Left End Cap and Received Right

I ordered left end cap for a proform treadmill and they sent right. I reached out to customer service and after a few exchanges they said they sent left and I could mail it back to them if I wanted my money back. It has been a frustrating experience and was not worth dealing with them. I would recommend not using this company. Here is my first email to them and the one I got back:

I ordered a left end cap and the order came in today. It was actually a right end cap that was shipped to me. Am I able to have a left end cap sent to me please?

Thank you,

Please advise on what you mean by "right" and "left"...  eg. are you caling "right" "user right" or "front right"?

Only the best,

Yes. we ask user right or user left question because some people don't know this. Example, say I am walking up to the front of the machine.. and establish that based on that point of view that's left and right. and, I order based on that. the order will be wrong because 'left' from the front of machine pov is actually 'user right' which all parts are based directionally, that is, user point of view. Like when you're on the machine. So we ask questions to avoid repeating the issue. Understand?
