The motor has been in for a week. It is smooth and seems to work well. It was a perfect drop in replacement and had the correct HP, wires and part#. However, it did NOT match the picture or brand. So far, seems to be a quality unit, but I’m not going to open it up just to witness the armature and brush board quality until it give me problems.
My mother wanted to reactivate my father's old Precor. The problem appeared to be with the switch... it was predictably temperamental. I had to power cycle it to get it to take, so it seemed like the fuse inside the switch. I took a chance on replacing it and found it here. The unit was listed as used but I took a chance. My machine was bricked and in a loop, NorddicTrack told me it was to old and I needed a new machine, even though the machine worked perfect and the only reason it didn’t work was because of there software. I researched and found this company and SD card and it fixed the issue.
